Requisition
1299/1 1946
Three
values, the 1d, 2d and 6d were despatched. The former two
with two despatch dates, 13th and 22nd August. Residue of
A2 stocks were to be exchanged. 46,000 were exchanged for
the 2d, 12,000 for the 6d.
Requisition 1299/2 1946
It must
have been decided belatedly that the 5/- was required hence
the part 2 Requisition with the same despatch date. 3,000
were exchanged.
Requisition 1387/1 1947
An issue
of eight values, the 1/2d, 1d. 11/2d, 3d, 6d, 2/6d, 5/- and
10/-. The residue of A2 stocks (i.e. the Bureau) were to be
exchanged in due course. No quantity was given for any
value. Interestingly the first part of 11/2d was despatched
two months ealier than the rest on 17th September.
Requisition
1466/1 1948
The 1/2d
was to have 26,000 exchanged from A2, while the 11/2d was
to have 17,000 exchanged from A2. The latter was urgently
required and 1000 sheets were to be despatched by post to
reach Pretoria by not later than than the end of September,
hence the first instalment of this value sent 21st
September.
Requisition 1530/1 1949
Delivery
for 11/2d and 4d was required before the end of September
1949 with the residue of Bureau stocks, 103,000, to be
exchanged. 17,000 were to be exchanged for the 4d and 9,000
for the 6d.
Requisition 1647/1 1950
Just one
value, the 2d. From the notes presumably there were no
stocks in the Bureau. 28,000 to the Exchange
Requisition
1716/1 1952
Three
values were required, 2d, 6d and 1/-.The 2d to Exchange
26,300, the 6d Exchange 13,400 and the 1/- Exchange 8,600.
Requisition 1793/1 1952/1953
Coming
towards the end of the printings for this reign this
requisition had three values, 4d, 2/6d and 5/-. For the 4d
13,500 went in Exchange,. The first despatch of 30,000 was
sent by post, the rest, presumably, by sea. The 2/6d had a
just 800 to the exchange and the 5/- 4,700 to the Exchange.
Requisition
1929/1 1953
The last
requisition of the reign had 4 values, 1d, 2d, 3d and 6d.
The 1d had 44,000, the 2d 32,000, the 3d 7,000 and the 6d
10,000 to the Exchange.
