There
was a proposed 1953 definitive issue for the colony of
Gambia.
Proofs
were created which took the form of 120x100mm photographs.
partly hand painted in black, grey and chinese white, which
were intended for the proposed frame designs. These were to
be later used for the Queen Elizabeth II
definitives
