Pitcairn Islands 4d and 8d Blocks of 4 showing Plate

In 1951 the Island required two
new duties for postage requirements. These were the 4d
which showed "The Bounty Bible", and an 8d that
incorporated the "School" in it's
design.
The recessed printed
stamps were the products of Bradbury Wilkinson who
used a script font for the Plate numbers. Both were
1-1
