Waterlow
Plate Numbers
The
initial Waterlow printings lacked Plate numbers, although
they were classed as Plate Number 1. However on George VI's
request future new printings or plate renewals included a
Plate Number. The first Antigua duties stopped at the 5s,
but in 1948 two new high values, the 10s and £1 were
released. These were printed, as can be seen above, from
Plate Number 1
